Industry News | New Blockchain MMORPG AVATARA Official Launches Globally

NXIO announces the launch of AVATARA, a blockchain MMORPG, in 175 countries and regions worldwide, excluding Korea and China, on January 17. As a cross-platform game, AVATARA allows players to develop their own characters, cooperate with others or compete with each other, and support NFT currencies such as NOX and TARA.

In addition, the game will include a massive siege battle and a PVP model to fight against players from all over the world, in addition to the common MMORPG exploration, cultivation, adventure and battle. A free trade economy system that allows players to purchase and sell props, characters, and NFTs will be added in AVATARA as well. 

AVATAR, the game's NFT, can be summoned through the MINT page, and the rank and appearance is selected randomly. In addition, each AVATAR can be freely transferred within Avatara. In order to maximize the P2E gameplay, both NX3, as well as NXIO have reworked on the AVATARA's in-game ecosystem, together with its framework from beginning to end. Web3 features have been incorporated into what is a conventional and action-packed MMORPG battle area as well. 

It can be divided into four characters according to AVATARA, covering Rogue, Knight, Archer, and Mage. Rogue specializes in stealth and frustrating the enemy, sneaking up on them from behind before striking, while Knight is good at closing combat, nusing tough physical strength, and defense. Archer is professional in hitting and running attacks from a distance, employing their fast attack Speed and long range. Mage can conduct powerful magic attacks and debuffs to harass enemies and is great at dealing damage.

What's more, AVATARA supports the use of its in-game NOX wallet, as well as Kaikas, a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet for the Klaytn blockchain, on both web and mobile devices for swapping NOX with KLAY. Players can also use BUSD to purchase items or character accessories through Binance Pay.
